South Silver Creek is a tributary of the South Fork American. Gorgeous, feeding into Icehouse Resevoir.

It's a short, steep creek, dropping around 600 feet per mile, for just over a mile.

This is the business. Some of the coolest, craziest whitewate I've ever seen. Here, an unknown paddler boofs the final Teacup above the famous Skyscraper rapid.

Fun stuff. No pictures of the upper run, but it starts with a fun, high speed slide called “autobahn” that rocks. Then a series of un drops down to the Teacups, seen here.

Here's a good shot f the teacups and then Skyscraper. Skyscrape starts below where the boats are on the rocks.

Here's me, running the last of the teacups!

Masaaki running a drop

Scouting skyscraper. My heart was beating fast just looking at this rapid. 80 feet, VERY steep, and tight lines with some ugly looking spots. Half our group portaged

Here's a view of skyscaper (upper half) and offramp (lower). These rapids, stacked on top of each other, were crazy. In good way.

Me running Skyscraper

Blasting over the final drop of skyscraper- I was scared dropping into this rapid, but it was over so fast...

Hiking out. Surprisingly tired for just over a mile of paddling.
